Tour Summary

Captain Phil is a seasoned expert at navigating out to the remotest regions of Grand Bahama Island in order to lead you to some of the best, untouched bonefishing sites in the area. Just a little ways out into the wilds near McCleans Town, surrounded by scenic cays, Captain Phil will show you the perfect locations for an exciting day spent fly fishing.

Your chances of catching one of the many local species of fish will increase exponentially when you have the expertise of Captain Phil at your service. The favorite for fishing in these waters is the elusive bonefish, which sometimes weighs as much as ten whole pounds. Not only might you hook one of these prime targets, you might also find yourself in a match against jacks, barracudas, permits, tarpons, snappers, groupers or sharks. Captain Phil's 17-foot Maverick flats boat comes equipped with a special poling platform, which he uses to get into the perfect spots for snagging big fish in the shallow waters they call home. Thanks to Captain Phil, you will be able to access some of the remotest waters, which are also some of the most abundant in the Bahamas.

Your level expertise at bonefishing, fishing in shallow waters or fishing with flies does not matter to Captain Phil or our staff. They will take on all comers and if you need a little extra help or a lot, we will be there to lend it to you. Even if you have never done anything like this before, you will be sure to be captivated in no time, especially when immersed in the dazzling beauty of the islands. Bonefishing is also a great family activity and you are encouraged to bring along children, who always take great delight when they land their first big catch.

Thanks to the professional guides! I was a bit worried about kayaking because I had never done it before, but the instructions were great and I had such a good time!
